Vision Screening

The Ministry of Health has mandated “Vision Screening” for Senior Kindergarten students in all provincial public school boards. York Region Health will be working in partnership with the Lions of District A-16 to deliver the Vision Awareness Program for senior kindergarten children.

The Lions of Newmarket are delivering this program to students in the Newmarket public  school system. All students are encouraged to see their optometrist for a more Comprehensive Eye Exam following this initial screening.

Good eye health is essential to learning.

Membership in the Newmarket Lions Club is open to women and men 19 years of age and over.  If you are interested in joining us for the benefit of our community, drop in to a meeting or click here to contact us. 

Our Meetings Are:

When

The Newmarket Lions Club meets on the first and third Mondays of each month, except July and August.  The meetings are scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.

Where

Community Centre and Lions Hall, 200 Doug Duncan Drive, Newmarket.
